There are more than 60 Farmers' Markets located in various cities and communities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. These Markets offer the finest farm-fresh fruits and vegetables as well as just-picked flowers, artisan breads and other baked goods, locally-produced cheeses and sometimes even freshly caught fish. The Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association (PCFMA) is the largest Farmers' Market organization in California; a non-profit corporation operating 17 Certified  Markets in the greater Bay Area. Each of our Markets operates under the regulations of the Department of Food & Agriculture, as well as any other regulations specific to the individual Market's locale.

A Certified Farmers' Market is a location approved by the County Agricultural Commissioner where certified growers from all over California gather to sell only those fruits, nuts and vegetables they have grown themselves.  At a Certified Farmers' Market only California-grown products may be sold; and no one  is allowed  to buy products and re-sell them.  In short, Certified Farmers' Markets are THE REAL THING...places where genuine farmers sell their own crops directly to the public.

Come take a look...our business is growing!
